A Food Rainbow
(poem & activity)

By Sarah V. Richard, Illustrations by Will Tanner

Strawberries - Mmm!

Tomatoes - Great!

Radishes - Yum!

It's a vegetarian's fate.

Lemons are sour.

Lemonade is sweet.

Squash tastes good.

Bananas are a treat.

Carrots are crunchy.

Sweet potatoes...the best!

Oranges are juicy.

It's a vegetarian's fest.

Some apples are green.

Peas are nice.

Celery is delicious.

Chives add spice.

Blueberries for dessert.

Cabbage for a snack.

Vegetarian food is #1.

And that, my friend, is a fact.
