Read what people are saying about vegetarianbaby.com!

I really appreciate the ideas you are sharing on your website and the information is fantastic. I have been reading your site all morning. :-) The possibilities of eco-minded design and community minded action is truly fantastic! Thanks for sharing such great information cheers,

What a great web site. I am a long-time vegetarian (no longer a teen), and I now follow a spiritual path which is also vegetarian. I wish I had known about a web site and support such as this when I first became a vegetarian (in a small town of meat eaters) when I was 13. So this is a great representation of vegetarianism for youth. Great job - keep up the good work!
Regards,
Lynn McGee

I really enjoy your site and find the articles inspiring, helpful and informative.

Attached is a photo of my boy Jack. He is so happy to be meat-free. Bless you Vegetarian Baby for all you do.
Peace, Kalud Stueve

Thank you for your "Vegetarian Anyonomous" section. I was a lacto-ovo vegetarian for three years before I gave in to strange cravings (hamburgers, bacon, etc.) during pregnancy. My daughter is nine months now, and I still struggle. It's comforting to know I'm not the only one!
Thanks again,

Cheryl Daniel

What a great [editor's] letter about New Year's resolutions. I never really made them because I could not think of one I would stick with. But this year I promised myself (I guess your could call it a resolution) that I will commit more time to just having fun. That sounds so trite, but I am a workaholic. With full time employment, Web page, grandkids and a Mom to look in on often, it seems like I never stop doing for everyone else. So it seemed important to revisit the things that I remember as being just fun. Keep up the good work and have fun.

Congratulations on your editor's letter about New Year's resolutions. You presented a very helpful and healthy perspective on the subject, and I am feeling inspired after reading it. There is a school of thought that if a goal seems achievable, it's not worth making and then pursuing--that it is somehow cheating in the arena of accomplishment. Thank you for reminding us that the objective of New Year's resolutions is about moving forward toward positive personal growth. The measure of our achievement is not necessarily in the size of our steps forward, but in our perserverance to continue putting one foot in front of the other, albeit in baby steps.

I love the new section In Their Own Words. I think it is wonderful for my daughters to hear affirmation from peers, as they don't have too many vegetarian friends their age. I've finally had time to be reading the articles on your site that I had always meant to read but never had time. I'm enjoying it!
Best wishes,
Linda Kligman

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your website!!! I jumped for joy when I found it today, every topic that you cover from cloth diapering to why we would never feed our children a happy meal are so right on the mark. At the same time your articles DO NOT have a vege./vegan snobby or cynical air about them.

I particularly love Caity's articles on Attachment Parenting and Vegan Mom at a Playgroup. It's so wonderful to know that we're not alone in how we choose to raise our little ones! Even virtual support means so much when the majority of our family and friends think we're a little nuts for refusing to do daycare, give cows milk and what WASH POOPY DIAPERS AND BUY ORGANIC! You all are to be praised!
Thanks so much!

I just stumbled on the new site while hunting around for kiddie lentil recipes. I had subscribed to the old print magazine and was sad when it was discontinued. A few years ago I was inspired by an article in the magazine to try to start a veg family playgroup. I wish I could say it took off like a shot and we now have 300 members, but sadly, that isn’t true. However, we have formed a sort of loose network and try to get together a couple of times a year, which is really a lot better than not knowing anyone at all. I just wanted to say thanks for all your (clearly) hard work and dedication over the years. It’s been a big help and very encouraging for vegetarian parents like us to have this resource.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Lynch

I was reading your article regarding all-natural & organic peanut butter. On the topic of the oil separating out: when you first get a jar of nut butter, let it come to room temperature (if it isn't already there). Empty the contents into a large mixing bowl, then stir the oil back into the nut butter. When you put it back into the container, it won't separate back out!

I've just finished reading theyoga articles in the fitness section and I really enjoyed them. My kids are three, four, 11 and 12, and all but the 11-year-old really enjoy yoga. Just this afternoon we were doing a yoga video for kids with Leah Kalish. It's been exciting for me to see my four-year-old begin to "master" (perhaps recognize is a better word) some of the poses.

I wanted to mention that I think the benefits to kids with physical challenges needs to be emphasized, as it was in Michelle Smith's article. My three-year-old son has spastic diplegia. This shows itself as left sided weakness/tightness. Stretching him to get his leg braces on can be so challenging and a bit heartbreaking. It is so wonderful that yoga allows him to play and get a good stretch. Keep up the great work!

I Just found this site, I don't have children yet, I am getting married this year and anticipate pregnancy within the next couple. I hope this site is still around when the time comes because I have already found some helpful information. Thanks.
