They donate 2 percent of every sale to the World Wildlife Fund for the adoption of endangered species. Opened in May 2006, the company has already been able to adopt an adult elephant and a panda with proceeds from customer sales.
Accordingly, their product lines are named for endangered animals: The Wolf Collection ("Le Loup"), The Panda Collection ("Ours de Panda"), The Orangutan Collection ("Orang-outan") and The Elephant Collection ("L'Elephant"). While many organic lines are available only in off-white, Joli Bebe clothes are available in pink and blue as well. In fact, everything pink for baby is on sale for the month of October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Each shipment comes with a lovely endangered species information card that you can recycle as a bookmark, a postcard, or just for decoration.
